I designed a logo for our groups’s project, library system, in software engineering class. E-PALS sounds corny at first but hell yeah I can’t think of any name that we could use so for the mean time E-PALS will do. hehehe

Tech Blog

I am launching a new blog and it will be a tech blog(sort of hihihi). Haha You will see the more techy side of jong in this blog. I am a computer science student and i just thought that I should be blogging about this. But don’t worry, I will still blog here. As if anyone is interested hehe… Anyway you can view it here though I haven’t posted anything yet.

I am still looking for a nice theme but i won’t be able to personalize it yet because of school, ang daming projects na malapit na ang due. So yan! hehe paepal lang…

OWASP

Our class attended a seminar. It is actually a meeting not a seminar.hehe Anyway, our professor, speaker of the meeting, introduced OWASP first. And then a presentation from Philippine Honeynet Project and the OWASP top 10. I was not able to see the presentation about the philippine honeynet project because I’m late. Basically, it’s about securing web applications properly.

OWASP top 10 Project:

The OWASP Top Ten provides a minimum standard for web application security. The OWASP Top Ten represents a broad consensus about what the most critical web application security flaws are. Project members include a variety of security experts from around the world who have shared their expertise to produce this list. There are currently versions in English, French, Japanese, and Korean. A Spanish version is in the works. We urge all companies to adopt the standard within their organization and start the process of ensuring that their web applications do not contain these flaws. Adopting the OWASP Top Ten is perhaps the most effective first step towards changing the software development culture within your organization into one that produces secure code.

I’m planning to buy(duno the term) a domain and hosting service before this year ends. Why? i really don’t know haha. Nah, I want this site to be my portfolio or is should say our portfolio. I asked masa to work with me haha. I am actually planning to start with my experimentation, You know, web design etc with the help of masa. And this site will be our portfolio site. plano pa lang yan! hehe i want to get that jongabad.com haha para pang personal talaga. Just noticed that my domain name is too long and is really made for portfolio site hehe. Sana lang may pera ako bago mag end ang taon. (wala bang magreregalo sa akin nito?)

3 more weeks at tapos na ang term and yet wala parin kaming nasisimulan with our projects and case studies. Punta kami tomorrow kina alvin para gawin ang library system. Wah, thesis 1 na pala next term. Hindi na nga ako makatulog kagabi eh, i was thinking of how am gona fit in 18 units in a 15 units maximum load. gets? d ko rin gets eh. yeah yeah!! Hm mag-apply kaya ako for unit overload? Mahirapan lang ako! hehe. oh yah and that fuckin minor subject! haha nahiya ako bigla!

wooh! lately parang gustong gusto ko kumita ng pera, work actually. Yeah, dahil nga masyado ako nagffreak out na thesis 1 na next term at specialization/elective 4 ko na next term eh wala parin akong laptop? big deal? oo! ang hirap kaya! imagine, overnight sa bahay ng kaklase mo pero isa lang ang pc. kung magdadala ka ng desktop sympre mahirap. imagine bitbitin mo monitor mo at cpu at keyboard at mouse dba? nagmuka ka ng computer table nyan! basta! Gusto ko na magkaron ng laptop. sana lang talaga hehe… sponsors/donations anyone? *grins*

oh yah, Garci is till missing haha!

Hmm. again ill install a CMS, wordpress cguro, for my lyrics blog. Nadelete kase ung dati because of that HD crash. kainis! pati back up na corrupt! parang gobyerno ng pilipinas.

Moving On

Nalulungkot ako sa tuwing tinitignan ko ang blog ko. Wala na ang mga entries na kahit papano ay pinaghirapan kong gawin. OO sasabihin nyo na ang korni ko naman para malungkot sa mga nawalang entries ko, pero yan talaga ang nararamdaman ko. Katulad na rin nung mga panahong iniwan ako ng babaeng minsa’y minahal ko (aba naman!). Malungkot sa tuwing naiisip ko ang mga alaala ng kami’y magkasama pa, tapos bigla bigla na lang mawawala na parang usok na kapag nahipan ng hangin ay unti unting maglalaho.

Hindi naman kailangan na magmukmok sa habang buhay. Isang solusyon lang ang naisip ko, at eto ay ang mag move on. Naisip ko na wala namang mangyayari kung patuloy akong magpapatalo sa mga nararamdaman ko. Malulungkot lang ako. Iisiping walang kwenta ang buhay. Magagalit sa mundo.

Sa totoo lang, mahirap ang mag move on. Lalo na kung medyo marami ka ng entries na nagawa, mga entries na sabi ko nga eh kahit papano eh naging parte narin ng pang araw araw ng pamumuhay ko. Parang sa pag-ibig, mahirap rin mag move on kapag malayo na ang nararating ng inyong relasyon tapos kayo ay naghiwalay dahil sa di malamang rason. Pero, sa mga bagay bagay na nangyayari sa atin, kailangan talaga natin mag move on. Patuloy lamang ang agos ng buhay, kung pilit nating pipigilan ang mga bagay bagay ay walang mangyayari sa atin. Kailangang itatak natin sa ating mga isipan na tapos na ang mga nangyaring yaon at magsimula ng panibagong buhay. At higit sa lahat wala na tayong magagawa(wala na ba talaga?). May magagawa ka pa ba sa mga hindi ma recover na back ups? eh sa pag-ibig?
