World Pyro Olympics

My ate had the chance to purchase a ticket at jollibee yesterday. Tickets are sold for 100 per head, She bought 3 and paid 375. Why? Because Jollibee sells it 125 a piece with free burger haha! Stupid jollibee!

Anyway, Getting there would be difficult if you’re a commuter, actually even if you have your own car. At around 5:30pm, Me and ate ride a jeep to baclaran to meet up with our other ate with his BF(?) in McDo baclaran. Unfortunately, ang tagal dumating nung lalake niya!haha. After 2 hours of waiting, we finally headed to Macapagal Boulevard. A lot of cars were parked at the side of the road. As in! Hanggang sa may Blue waves. I thought were not gonna make it coz traffic started to build up. Sobrang naka double park na kase talaga yong iba. Parking is open for everyone. They are not organized. Anyway, we parked in front of that Honda CRV car. haha Bahala na!

Then we walk… Walk again… Walk again. We asked three fuckin guards pero mali yong tinuro nila. argh! I guess they thought we’re just looking for a nice place to watch the fireworks, and that nice place is in front of that church. I don’t know what church is that. Ang layo ng nilakad namin bago marating yong gate. There are a lot of people in front of the gate. We thought lahat sila papasok, pero hindi pala. Maganda lang kase view doon. Pero hindi kita yong baba. Anyway, bumili si mark, ate’s bf, ng ticket kase nga 3 yong ticket namin. Jeepneys are waiting at the entrance, don’t worry there’s no sugar! haha Don’t worry it’s for free, actually the 100 pesos ticket is just for a jeepney ride. Haha kidding! Pati ba naman doon eh talagang pinupuno ang jeep. Nakakahiya sa mga tourist!

At last, after ten years nakarating din kami. Salamat. Wala naman masyado sa loob. May dalawang stage yata doon, Yong isa sa mga bands then the other one is for the magic show. Umikot-ikot lang kami, ang haba ng pila sa mga pagkain. Official partner nila ang Jollibee, tatlong stand nila lahat abot buwan ang pila!

A guy at that stage announced that the fireworks will be up at any minute. We then looked for a nice place and view. Sayang don sa may gilid, punong puno na ng tao. Nakikita nila kung san nanggaling yong fireworks. The fireworks started after 15 minutes. It was actually South Africa’s presentation, 2nd country for the night. The first one is from US, we were able to watch it outside haha!

South Africa’s presentation is just a normal fireworks display, wala silang kakaibang ginawa except for their finale. It was really huge and nice. NapaWOW nanaman ang mga tao. Actually, WOW is the word of the event hehe.

Hindi ko masyadong natutukan yong sa US kase naglalakad kami non, yong patapos na lang. Ang panget eh.

Anyway, mahirap din umuwi. Ang haba ng line sa jeep, kaya we decided to walk. Wow, ang layo pala ng lalakarin. Ang dilim pa! But it was fun, you know. Wala ng mga car sa parking space na napwestuhan namin, pati ung CRV wala na! Hehe Buti naman. We thought they’re gona wait for us or just bump my ate’s car. hihi Again, there’s a heavy traffic to EDSA. Haha. I thought our park was the worst, but then on the way to EDSA we saw two cars in the middle of the road. The other one is really in the middle and parked opposite the direction(gets?). Haha ’twas really fun, I wonder how that car get the hell out of there. That’s it.

Today will be the last day. UAE will be presenting. Then the Philippines plus the other participants.
