Remember to make a back up regularly

My site is inaccessible for several days and HostingPH doesn’t even have an email regarding the issue. They didn’t even have a notice that they are going to migrate to a new server. Yesterday, I wrote them about the site’s problem and they replied:

There was a server crash just before the migration to a new server, we are trying to restore the most possible recent backup for all accounts. Your
account is about to be uploaded next, with I believe last weeks backups, If you have made your own backups we can restore that for you.

It actually pissed me; I don’t have a back up of my latest posts. Darn. If they’ve just sent me a notice, I would have made a back up.

yay. Im back… Online but not in Pinas. hehe. Well, thank God and my friendly neighbor for the free and unsecured wifi. Hopefully it will last till Barham’s arrival.

UpdateS?

Hmm. It’s been over a month since I started my training slash seminar for ICND1 Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices 1. Yep CISCO! I need this to pass CCENT or Certified Cisco Entry Network Technician. It’s a new entry level certification for aspiring cisco network engineers. Anyway, we still have two topics to discuss and after that is the moment of truth. hehe. So far so good. I’m quite enjoying my schooling plus It would be an advantage if I passed the exam.

About the WIFI…

Well, I’ve been trying to find an unsecured Access point but I was ver unlucky but just two hours ago I tried again and luckily I was able to connect to one of the unsecured APs in our area. It’s not that fast but i don’t care. What’s important now is that I have an internet connection. hehe.. So saya!

Sorry for the lame post. I’ll try to write something interesting next time hehe…
