Happy 2009

Spent my birthday doing really nothing. I bought Pancit Malabon and bihon/canton to share with my family, relatives and friends. Nothing really special with my birthday. But what really made me happy is when we welcomed 2009.

Around 10:00pm last night, everyone was out on the streets lighting every kind of firecrackers we had. Everyone was shouting and screaming because of the happiness. I never really noticed that it’s already new year because of what we were doing, I only noticed it when my cousin greeted me. Hihi. After greeting our neighbors, we head upstairs for media noche.

After eating like pigs hehe, we went downstairs and started setting up for our drinking marathon. We started our drinking session with a game called shots and ladders(I really don’t know the exact name of the game). It’s like a snakes and ladders but with a twist like drinking a shot, a double shot, pick a friend and truth or dare. After 20 or so minutes, we were already finished with one bottle of GSM blue hehe. I guess I had the most number of shots because I always land on the double shot square every time I roll the dice.

After the game, we started drinking our fave drink Red Horse hehe. We ended at around 7am and cleaned the place. We had 3 cases of mucho red horse and 1 GSM blue. Wooh! Good thing we have lots of friends who passed by and we gave each a shot.

I woke up today ar around 4pm. I hope that I won’t be drinking and sleeping the whole year. heck I even told myself that I won’t be drinking before 2009 starts. Oh well, what’s important is that we had fun and nothing really bad happened.

Oh, we still have one bottle of Red horse on the fridge, I should be drinking it by now. hehe
