Wow, ang bilis ng araw. This is our 3rd week of stay in New York and New Jersey but til now we have not seen Lady Liberty. It’s just that we’ve got loads of work to do, trying to catch up with the training and with the technologies that are being used. Our training starts at 9 and usually ends at 5, but we still continue work at home, reading stuff and solving different types of exercises that were given by the instructors. Maswerte na ang makatulog ng 3 oras kada araw.

I’m not complaining though, I accepted this challenge. I should know the consequences and other responsibilities tied up to this. Oh well… Right, im out of words. Pagod na ako kaya papahinga muna

Wish List update

About 4 months ago, I came up with a wish list for Christmas. A few days after that I bought my 8gb Ipod touch 2g, number two on my list. I was thinking of buying a DSLR but for some reasons Ipod won. Anyhow, I had a nice conversation with my mother last month and asked her if she could buy me a camera and I’ll pay it on their vacation. I thought they wouldn’t agree because its a bit expensive. Last week, my mother texted me that she already bought a camera. Wooh so nice. Oh, and she said that they’d give me discount.

I haven’t touched my SLR because they are not here yet. I still have to wait till thursday though. I just can’t believe that I already have two out of three wishes. Nice. Now I’m still saving for a new computer, hopefully before I come up with a new list.

Oh, another thing, I bought 1TB External Hard disk, Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus. I was actually planning to buy one a long time ago because I need to back up my files, my harddisk is almost full and I need to transfer the movies and tv series that I downloaded. I will also use it to store pictures captured with my SLR. Hmm…

On the other note, I am into travelling now I guess. My friends and I are planning for a summer getaway. I wish we can go to CamSur. I will be in Coron on August. A lot of plans for the year, Hopefully I get to travel more with friends and use my camera :D And more bonus and salary increase. Now I’m making another set of wishlist haha.

Hmm what else. I wish I’d be able to update this blog regulary and make some reviews - gadgets and travels.

Well, I guess that’s all for now. Will think of a nice name for my new baby.

Practice Java with JAVAbat

Some time last week, I was searching for a nice web based java practicising tool for me to play with. I just wanted to hone my skills with java, not because I am not that good - well im really not good in programming- its just that I feel that I need to know the basics of java. Then I stumbled upon this really nice and challenging site called javabat.

Javabat is a free java practice problems online. It offers a great ang challenging problems from easy to difficult. It’s a good site to visit especially if you are new to programming and wanting to pursue a career in programming. It’s a good site to practice java because you don’t need anything to install to compile, run and test your program. It’s already there.

It does not only hone your skills in programming but also improves your logical thinking which is really important in programming.

Students nowadays are fortunate because of the technologies that we have now. Everything is within reach, they just have to grab it.

Oh well, I’m going to practice recursion now. Hope you’ll enjoy the site.

Happy Birthday Mama… LBM

Today marks the 47th 48th(sorry hehe) year of my mama(as in sosyal mama) in this lovely world. Sad because we won’t be able to spend it with her because she’s with papa in Riyadh. But I know that they are doing well there so there’s no reason for me to be sad. And few months from now they will be going back here in Manila for vacation.

I grew up with my mother since my father worked abroad when I was still cute baby boy. Although I get to see my father every year, It is still different growing up with only your mother beside you. I envy my friends who grew up with both of their parents but then again I am still happy that I grew up with my mother. I guess this shaped me into who I am now; a strong, determined, happy-go-lucky and passionate guy. yeah! I don’t care if they call me “langaw” or fly because I always follow where my mother goes. I don’t care if they call me mama’s boy. What I do care about is that I have a loving mother who will always be there every time I fall down, a mother who would wake up in the morning to prepare my things, food and baon, a mother who would hug you and care for you, and a special mother who will always be there no matter what the situation is.

To my mother, Happy Birthday! I haven’t really said that I love you but I know that you feel how much we love you. I thank God for giving us a Loving mother and a loving wife to my father.For me you are the best mother in the whole galaxy world haha.

On the lighter note, I was on sick leave yesterday because of my stomach. And now, I wasn’t able to attend SLP’s despidida because also of my stomach hihi. I hope I’d get better tomorrow because I will be meeting with my college friends to celebrate their freedom day. hehe
